If you are making your way through the Autumn Festival Playlist, it helps to have a bit of spare cash on hand, and plenty of players keep a stash of Forza Horizon 6 Credits ready for exactly that reason. The Tokyo Tower Photo Challenge looks simple on paper, but a lot of people still end up circling the same streets, wondering why the game is not giving them credit. It is one of those tasks that sounds obvious until you actually try it.
Finding the Tower Without the Guesswork
Tokyo Tower sits on the western side of Tokyo, and once you know roughly where to look, it is hard to miss. The best approach is to head into the city first, then work your way toward the big red-and-white structure that rises above the skyline. If you are already close to the city centre, you will probably spot it before you reach it. From farther out, just keep drifting west and stay near the main roads until it comes into view. The tower stands out better than most buildings around it, so there is no need to overthink the route.
Why the Photo Sometimes Fails
This is where people get caught out. A lot of players assume the challenge wants a neat wide shot with the whole tower in frame. That is not really how it works. The game wants your car at the base of Tokyo Tower, not parked somewhere nearby with the landmark in the distance. If you are too far off, even a clean photo can miss the requirement. It feels a bit picky, sure, but once you know the trick, it becomes much easier.
Getting the Shot to Register
Drive right up to the tower and position your car close to one of the supporting legs. You do not need a perfect angle. You do not need to line up a dramatic skyline shot either. Just get near the base and make sure the car is clearly there when you open Photo Mode by pressing up on the D-Pad. A lot of players find that stopping beside one of the tower's feet works best. After that, snap the picture and wait for the prompt. If the location is right, the challenge should register straight away. If it does not, move a little closer and try again.
What You Get for Finishing It
The reward is worth the small bit of effort. You will pick up a new Forza Link chat phrase, which is handy if you like messing around with other players online. You will also earn seasonal points, and those matter more than they first seem. Every point pushes you a bit further through the playlist, which means you are closer to the limited-time cars and other prizes on offer. If you are chasing rewards like the 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec or the 1991 Honda CR-X SiR, these smaller activities start to add up fast. One short photo challenge might not seem like much, but it can be the thing that nudges you over the line.
Final Thoughts
The Tokyo Tower Photo Challenge is really more about precision than effort. Once you know that the game wants you right at the base, the whole thing becomes a quick stop rather than a frustrating detour. It is also a nice excuse to spend a minute in one of the game's most recognisable locations before jumping back into the rest of the Festival Playlist. If you are trying to maximise your progress, keep an eye on the weekly and daily events too, and don't leave the easy points sitting there. A little planning goes a long way, especially when you are trying to buy FH6 Credits and keep your garage ready for whatever the season throws at you.
